NEW HAVEN, Connecticut (February 21, 2023) – Douglas S. Skalka, principal with the law firm of Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C. has been re-elected to the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) Connecticut Chapter Board of Directors and will continue to serve as Co-chair of membership. Attorney Skalka was first appointed to the CT TMA board in 1995 and has served in multiple leadership roles including as board president. The Turnaround Management Association (TMA) is the leading organization dedicated to turnaround management, corporate restructuring, and distressed investing.  

Attorney Skalka specializes in bankruptcy, commercial finance, business reorganizations and commercial litigation. He represents businesses, lenders, trade auditors and investors in many bankruptcy and business reorganization matters. He holds a certification in business bankruptcy from the American Board of Certification and has been named a Senior Specialist by the Board.  

Attorney Skalka holds numerous professional distinctions including Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating, Connecticut and New England Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers. Attorney Skalka is a member of the American and Connecticut Bar Associations, a former Chair of the New Haven County Bar Association Bankruptcy Committee, and a Lifetime Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation.
